When Christa-Lee McWatters told us she was planning to open a new tasting room that would focus just on sparkling wine, we were pretty intrigued. When she told us it would also feature gourmet bites to pair with bubbles (think: oysters and potato chips) in a beautiful architectural space on the Naramata Bench, we got pretty darn excited.

The Evolve Cellars bubble house is expected to open sometime next spring. It will be the first winery on the bench as you head up the hill out of Penticton, with stunning views over the valley. Most importantly, it will feature sparkling wines, both Charmat and traditional method, from a label that has been scooping up all sorts of awards. We can’t wait to check it out.
